Introduction

This plugin adds 3 different filters from PIXI that together can create a nice Horror Effect for your game. It is also inspired by the Resident Evil 5 feature that let the player build a horror filter via a menu option.

Features

  • Add PIXI Old Film, CRT, and Glitch Filter to create a Horror Filter Effect.
  • Apply the filter on several game sprites:
    • Title screen backgrounds and game title!
    • Player, events, followers, vehicles, and pictures!
    • Enemy and Actor sprites!
    • The entire screen on Map and Battle scene!
  • Use plugin commands together with a built-in Filter editor to apply them on the fly and see what it looks like on your sprites!
  • A custom scene that let the player change the filter configurations! Via options menu or plugin command!

Hey there! I got an error using this on MV. I absolutely cannot find out what I'm doing wrong. I hope I'm not bothering you, thanks!

If more information is needed, I can provide.

Hi there!

Thanks for the screenshot!

Your plugin command is wrong. You don't need to input "Id". Just put the Number:

  • Wrong => HorrorFilter Add Picture Id 1
  • Right => HorrorFilter Add Picture 1
(+1)

Thank you for the swift response! It works perfectly now!

Nice! ^^

Have fun!
