● Adds extra tile space for the map to scroll.
How to use
Just set the plugin parameters to the value you want the map to extra scroll.
If you put, for example, 3 at the "X distance off-screen" parameter, even if your map has a width of 15, it will scroll like it has 18 of width.

Serious question: But what is the difference between using this plugin or just making the map a few tiles bigger and placing a border of empty tiles around the edge?

The main difference is quality of life. This plugin will automatize the process of having to do it manually(make extra tiles for every map, on every size). Otherwise there is no difference.
